Kitchen 8: by Hanson Homes, Inc.

Project Description:

As the most used and central gathering room of the home, it was essential that this Kitchen could multi-function and accommodate a busy family lifestyle. An extra deep, 2-level island allows for family meal preparation to coincide with assisting children on homework and school projects. When entertaining is the focus, the layout allows for guests to find a comfortable space to relax and enjoy conversation and refreshments.

ll elements of design were considered when selecting the finishes for this eclectic space. Hints of the modern industrial era are present in the pendant lighting, color selections and use of materials. Bold contrast between Caviar painted cabinets and white quartz countertops is softened by the rich coffee tones in the hardwood flooring, and natural stone adds an unexpected texture to the perimeter walls and island backsplash. Cabinet lighting highlights a carefully selected wine collection, and Keeler hardware featuring the Philippe collection adds an artistic touch to the custom built cabinetry. Music playing from the overhead Sonos speakers completes the casual atmosphere.
