This East Grand Rapids kitchen is part of a larger renovation project, adding onto a 1917 home. The kitchen was relocated to the new addition allowing for a more open family space. Classic design elements team with modern details to create a functional and beautiful kitchen. The layout is ideal for the family of six, combining casual dining and living spaces. Professional appliances, performance interiors, and zoned storage were planned into the layout. The floor to ceiling cabinetry and furniture details are flooded with light through the large windows, and highlight the historical period of the home. The previous kitchen has become the combined laundry/mudroom, organized with lockers, mail center, and laundry sorting station.
