Kitchen 14: by Jennifer E. McClelland Design Co.

Designer: Jennifer E. McClelland

Handsomely dramatic and full of richness, this transitional kitchen came to life when the homeowners partnered with Jennifer E. McClelland Design Co.  “We chose Jennifer E. McClelland Design Co. because of the time and effort Jennifer put forward to really understand our needs.”, says the Jenison couple. Above all, they wanted an updated kitchen that showed their passion for bold and vibrancy, as well as ease of meal preparation and cleanup. Elevating the look of simple lines, owner – designer Jennifer E. McClelland suggested the pillowed door style that added flair while maintaining a clean look. To compliment this transitional style, a quartz countertop with lots of movement was added to the walls to create a dynamic, matching backsplash.

This ordinary master bath underwent a complete renovation, while maintaining the same footprint, to obtain extraordinary results. Streamlining the espresso cabinetry offered more storage both vertically and horizontally. Counter height “his and her” vanities are complimented by a makeup center at the far end. A subtle quartz countertop showcases the natural stone backsplash and the mirror adds dimension by standing off the wall. The original acrylic shower was replaced by 12” x 24” brick-set tiles with a decorative accent of natural stone that reflects the backsplash. Unique jewelry organization panels were added to the tall linen cabinet doors to offer easy access while being in full view.
